Prayers for Michael Hickcox

Barb Hickcox writes with news about her son Michael. She writes it better than I could:
“Michael has stage 3 esophageal cancer at the gastroesophageal junction. He is at Cedar Sinai in Los Angeles for treatment and is starting both chemo and radiation on April 5. He has lost 30+ pounds since January due to the obstruction and is trying to gain some back before treatment begins.  His husband is with him and his friends in the area are rallying to house and feed him. His husband is a good cook and has taken it upon himself to feed him up, and try to comply with the nutritionist’s recommendations. Cedar Sinai’s team for esophageal cancer is rated just below Mayo Clinic and I have confidence he will get the best care possible. 
“Thanks to all the pray-ers and friends of St. Peter’s. I feel confident that God’s plan for Michael is not over and your prayers will support and nurture him through this difficult time. God’s love to you.”
We have all seen miracles happen and we pray that our merciful Lord will grant one to Michael and support his husband and Barb during this time. AMEN
