Updates, Prayer Requests, and Thanksgivings

Liz Rarey, Joe Kersey’s neighbor and friend, had an uncomplicated vitrectomy on her right eye and is doing well and is now back to driving.

Thanks be to God.

Joe Chornyak continues his recovery from his post-renal stone sepsis and is now off his intravenous antibiotics.
May our gracious God grant him continued healing and allow him to recover his strength. AMEN

Patrick Hardin is exploring a perceived calling toward Holy Orders with the ministry explorers group led by the Commission on Ministry and continues to do so Saturday 30 January.
May the Holy Ghost guide and direct the Commission and Patrick toward a decision congruent with God’s purpose and will. AMEN

Rector David writes: “Thanksgivings are offered for Parish leaders taking up new ministries. Four nominees are filling positions on the Vestry, and Joyce Laurence has been appointed Clerk of the Vestry.
“Thanksgiving is given for Carol Hallenbeck as she steps down after many years as Clerk of the Vestry, and is facing several health challenges.
“Diocesan Delegate’s and Alternates are being elected, and the Parish is still seeking discernment for a new Treasurer.
“God is great.”
AMEN
