Update on Terry and Mary Highland
Terry writes to report on their status during and after the Hurricane Dorian:
“Praise God we are fine. The hurricane stayed off shore and the bands of rain were minimal. Orlando got more rain and wind that we did. We had our storm shutters closed, generator ready, and hurricane sturdy garage door shut. And we prayed God would put a hedge of protection around our house. You prayed for us too. We were ready.
“I was the celebrant and preacher last Sunday since our rector (head pastor) was in the hospital. I asked the congregation how many were praying that the hurricane stays way off shore and 100% raised their hands. God answered our prayers. This hurricane went from 185 mph winds in the Bahamas to 50 mph here in Melbourne. We didn’t have branches to clean up in the yard. Don’t tell me God doesn’t answer prayers. That’s a big PRAISE GOD!
Thank you again for your prayers.
