Terry Highland requests prayers for Roxanne Anhalt, the wife of one of his former sextons, who has been hospitalized with meningitis.

May our gracious and merciful God grant that a specific etiology be swiftly determined and that she receive appropriate therapy for what can be a  devastating disease; and may He grant her a rapid, sequelae-free recovery. AMEN

Update: I have recently learned that Sue Leidke, for whom we have been praying, died about two weeks ago.

May God support her family and friends during this sad time. AMEN

September 2, 2018

Bobbie Thrall has been suffering from impaired unrestricted breathing recently and this has been secondary to edema fluid in her lungs.

Her physicians are now being more aggressive in removing this with diuretics and she is doing better, but not anywhere near what she and Geoff would wish yet.

It looks as if she may be home soon on some supplemental oxygen.

She requests no phone calls or visits, but — as always — welcomes our prayers.

May God help our sister Bobbie to get through all of this, and help Geoff, too, of course. AMEN

May our dear Lord uphold and support this couple as they go through this dreadful time. AMEN

September 6, 2018

Geoff writes to tell us Bobbie is home from the hospital and much improved and will be on oxygen full time. She will be having in home physical therapy and nursing twice a week for eight more weeks.

My our gracious God continue to care for Bobbie and Geoff with His love. AMEN

Amy Hinton updates us on Ashleigh the child with lung cancers that was being treated with episodic chemotherapy.

Sadly she died last spring. The chemo would work for a bit and then the tumors would come back and they came back worse each time. Sad.
God bless her family friends and may He support them in this sadness and grief. AMEN
November 7, 2018
Melva Colegrove notifies us that Barb Hickcox is having an orthopedic procedure tomorrow. No further details are available right now.

May our merciful God spare her from the more extreme forms of pain that can occur with these and grant her a swift healing. AMEN
